Stanford Consulting Engineers (SCE) was founded following the 2022 Eastern Australian Flood Event, one of the nation's worst
recorded flood disasters. This series of floods, occurring from late February to early May, affected South-East Queensland and New South Wales. Nearly one thousand schools were closed, evacuations took place, and the public was advised to avoid non-essential travel. Food shortages were reported across the region due to the ensuing supply chain crisis, impacting communities even in outback Queensland. The widespread damage and the urgent need to repair critical infrastructure essential for Australian communities drove the desire to share our knowledge and expertise in civil and structural engineering. This mission is at the heart of our business. We are dedicated to helping others prepare, plan, deliver, and maintain their assets, for the good times and the bad.
